holy hell... what happened - where've you guys been. I got stuck in a mudhole but I found myself deep in the hole. Sure I'm real dirty and could use a cleansing of sorts but I gotter hotrodders. I am the picture of health and completely happy and very excited about the future of the mofo. I will seep it out slowly, incase I run outta gas again. here is chapter 1. The new Edgewater CD is out. It's what they are calling a soft release because radio won't be playing it until june/july and stores won't have it until then either. But I got a copy, and you can buy the CD at any of our shows. Chances are you'll get your money back plus a bonus because this week we did really good on sales but came up short in the bank. So apparantly... so apparently ... so I guess our merch seller takes your 10 spot, gives you a CD and a sticker and then gives you $12 back... hmmm gotta go buy some edgewater CD's!!!

I've had some pretty deep thoughts this summer... gets me ta plunderin around and thinkin... what if I wuz ta... hmmmm... I should... i wish... boy that was awesome... are we gonna have to do that again? hello... I know $60 right? summer situations

time to go muddin' and stuff... the one big huge gigantabig thing I hate about living in Texas is no beach. I spent most of my life on the coast, 3 years in okinawa, 4 years in hawaii, 3 years in florida, 6 years in cali, and many years inbetween 70 miles from shore in North Carolina. Being in north Texas you are way too far from the beach... but i can't talk the state into moving so i ain't a going' nowhere... it's time to go muddin.
My little side project band is about half done with our record. Probably closer to 40% than half but we have made quite a bit of progress over the last few months. We still don't have a name, but we are about 40% there... probably gonna be something to do with robots or the future since our music is very experimental. I also finally finished reading the grapes of wrath so wanted to tie in the Tom joad thing... you know - standing up for what you believe in, like I believe in "Muse", "Mr Bungle", "Beck", "Beastie Boys", "self", "fishbone", "bobby Mcferrin", "Bob Schneider", "Steve Coleman", "Ornette Coleman", "Stevie Wonder", "24-7 Spyz", "Charlie Hunter", "mars Volta", "Dag", "Queen", "Ben Folds", "Andre 3000 & Outkast","Bjork", "Mike Patton", "the Flaming Lips", "Galactic", & so on...

"lil orphan album" is a compilation of "B-sides" that either didn't make the last mofo record or won't make the new one but I still wanted you to hear them for some ungodly reason.
The "Being Beautiful" DVD is a DVD that I did all the musical score on. I put up a few tidbits of interesting sounds, thought you might enjoy. You can buy the DVD if you wanna get all pretty an stuff on various different websites, but themodelszone is probably where you wanna go!
"Edgewater" song portions are now up along with the video for "eyes wired shut". sorry about the long download time... I did what I could to preserve quality on a media that was already a bit jagged.

What do you do with an elephant that has 3 balls... you walk him and pitch to the rhino (thanks micah)... unless the rhino is on suspension for illegal use of steroids and is currently fighting his alleged violation through the players union. I mean c'mon, he was probably tested wrong anyway. I"m more than sure that someone spiked his shirley temple daquiri with a chicken egg extract that tends to test possitive in the heiness & outdated testing system MLB is currently employing... so I guess in that case you just beam the the elephant near the tusk for crowding the plate, he's lucky to be in the league anyway with his bighead strike zone and slow ass swing - I guess that's why he's playing for peanuts... ho hum baseball has begun.
